Meet Dr. Chang

Dr. Ed Chang was born and raised in Southern California. After completing his undergraduate work at UCLA in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, he then graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In medical school, he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and AOA Honors Societies. He completed his urology residency at University of Washington and fellowship in Robotics and Urologic Oncology at City of Hope. He currently works as a urologic oncologist at Kaiser Permanente in San Bernardino County.

Dr. Chang is the co-founder of ProspectiveDoctor.com and has worked as professional coach for aspiring doctors for the last 14 years. All of his clients were accepted to medical school or residency. Dr. Chang takes a very personalized approach to coaching, tailoring his advice to the personality, goals, and desires of each of his clients. He is gifted at connecting with his clients and building a relationship that will help them discover themselves and their purpose. For Dr. Chang, it's not just about clients achieving goals. Rather, he wants his clients to learn how to enjoy the journey of becoming a physician and have a long satisfying career of serving others. He hopes to build a lifetime relationship with his clients, serving as a mentor and coach throughout their careers.

Dr. Chang loves to exercise and is an avid pickleball player. He is a devout Christian and active member in a local church.
